BASIC PREPARATION
If tattoo location is known: Take care of the spot (if dry) already 7 days before with a moisturizer.
In general: drink a lot of water, so your skin is in a better condition.
Drink best the night before and before the appointment no or if, then only little alcohol (dilutes your blood) + no cofein 2hrs before the appointment.
Inform Izy in advance about any health problems and allergies. We will go through a health check before you’ll get your tattoo. The appointment can be canceled from Izy if your health does not allow a tattoo. Izy don't tattoo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
RITUAL RECOMMENDATION (OPTIONAL)
Feel in advance what your tattoo means to you (emotionally), so that you can let this energy flow into your tattoo during the tattooing.
It is beautiful to connect with the energy of your future tattoo already. You can create a little ritual to connect with your vision (journaling, nature walk, meditation…).
Energy Cleansing: Clean your energy with white sage before the appointment. I will do this anyways in the studio too, but it’s also good to clean your energy beforehand.
BEfore
the appointment
Dress comfortably for the appointment (e.g. cozy sports/trainer outfit). Make sure you don't wear anything tight where the tattoo will go.
Water and tea is provided. It is best to eat something beforehand or take a snack with you in case you get hungry.
Please be on time (not earlier / not later) or inform Izy via Instagram, if you are not.
You can pay by cash, Twint or online via credit card. Only in some cases you can pay by bill or Paypal. If you want to pay in rates, please contact us first.
During
the appointment
ENERGETIC INTEGRATION OF YOUR TATTOO
Integrate your tattoo: Take time for yourself after getting your tattoo to integrate this journey. This can be by simply feeling and connecting with your new piece of art - is there a message for you? This can be a walk in nature or a meditation. Just take some time to sit with it and welcome it in your body.
Come back to your energy: During the appointment it is an energy exchange between artist and client. So it is also important to come back to your own energy. Also clean yourself with white sage if you want.
TATTOO HEALTH
The recommendations always depend on the placement and size of your tattoo. However, they are important to avoid infections and for your tattoo to heal nicely.
Your tattoo will be covered with a waterproof but breathable patch called second skin. Remove the patch after 3 days. You can shower and you don't need to put cream on your tattoo during this time. It is normal that the tattoo looks blurred underneath the patch - this is plasma and rest ink, so don’t worry. But if you see red dots, if it is swollen or if it dirt goes in, take it of directly and disinfect with a wound spray (e. g. Octenisept or Merfen). If there is any infection, directly contact Izy or a skin doctor.
Tips for removing the patch:
hold under lukewarm water and peel off
clean with PH neutral soap or lukewarm water
dry with a fresh paper towel (dab only)
use a little cream
During the first 7 - 14 days
avoid (heavy) sports / sweating
avoid stretching the tattoo
no bathing and swimming
no solarium, sauna or steaming hot showers
protect the tattoo from the sun
From day 3 to 30
apply cream 1-2 times a day (thin layer and clean hands)
fresh air is good for wound healing
pat your tattoo to dry
no rubbing or scratching (!!!)
After 30 days your tattoo will be completely healed. Always use sunscreen and moisturizer if needed to continue to care for your tattoo. Izy always loves to hear your feedback (via Mail, Instagram) and to see a picture from your healed tattoo.

Tattoo
A tattoo is permanent, which means it remains under your skin forever. By registering, you are aware of this and agree to it. You also understand that your style can change over the years, and getting a tattoo should be well-considered.
Skin
You are aware that your skin changes over the years, and so does your tattoo. There is no guarantee of tattoo healing (especially if proper care is not taken). Every skin and healing process is different. You know your skin and healing best and take responsibility for proper healing by following the tattoo artist's recommendations. Your skin may accept the ink very well, but it could also reject it. One touch-up is free, and after that, it is charged by the hour (CHF 155.00/hour). Areas with a lot of calluses (like fingers, feet...) will be charged CHF 100.00 for touch-ups, as they often require additional work (for materials and effort).
Areas with thick skin/calluses or locations prone to wear (e.g., fingers/hands, feet)
These areas are tricky in terms of tattoo longevity. This means there is no guarantee of how long tattoos in these areas will last. Some people have tattoos in these areas that last forever, while others may see them fade within weeks or months. It is very individual. Retouch will be charged when getting a tattoo in that area. Contact us if you have questions or need advice on this matter.
Health
Before the tattooing process, a consent form is signed, possible risks are discussed, and a health check is conducted. A tattoo is a minor procedure and cannot be performed without consent. If you have any health issues, contact us beforehand to see if a tattoo is possible for you. Izy is also a trained pharmaceutical assistant and can provide competent advice in this regard. The appointment can be canceled from her side until shortly before the tattooing if your health does not allow for a tattoo. It is your responsibility to inform us about your health in advance. The deposit of CHF 100.00 remains owed if you have concealed your health condition until just before the appointment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women cannot be tattooed.
Colors Used and Sustainability
Izy adheres to all Swiss color regulations and the REACH regulation of Europe, which was significantly updated in 2022. It is important to her which ink she uses for tattooing. The ink is vegan. In general, she tries to make the process as sustainable as possible. Contact us if you have any allergies or for more detailed information.
Confidentiality
We commit to keeping your private information, which you share with us during your appointment, confidential (health, personal matters, etc.).

A photo of your tattoo will be taken if you agree. These photos may be used for public advertising purposes (Instagram, Facebook, website), with the option for anonymity. The photos are protected by copyright.
